Dr. Sharma has immense experience as an Onco-neurosurgeon in treating all types of Cancer patients in leading centers in Delhi, India. As a Professor of Medical Oncology, he specializes in the field of Neurology and Psychiatry. Dr. Karam earned his medical degree at Indra Gandhi Medical College in Shimla and received the Gold medal in Medicine. He continued his medical training at The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI) in Chandigarh with a degree in Master of Surgery (MS). He received his MCH (NEUROSURGERY) degree in 1986 from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
He has over 35 years of experience of satisfied patients in his field. Dr. Karam has invented 15 specialist surgical instruments like the Karam Chand Trepause Scalp Retractor and laminectomy instrument. He has also invented operations like Karam Chand operation for Chiari1 with Syringomyelia and Karam Chand operation for a chronic subdural hematoma. Throughout his career, Dr. Karam has been a sought-after reviewer for numerous national & international journals. He has published over 45 papers, contributed to three book chapters and written numerous blog posts on neurosurgery. He is a member of the Neurological Society of India, Delhi Neurological Association & the Indian Medical Association.
